(A) WTP work is being done in Gaibandha municipality under the water supply project of 37 district cities. Progress 85%.


(B) Under the PEDP-3 project, excavation work of 574 water sources allocated in Gaibandha district during the year 2017-2018 and 49 work out of 62 was completed and 13 works were completed.


 (C) Tender evaluation work is being carried out in the construction of 246 water sources allocated upazila wari in the year 2017-2018 under the Water Sarbahar project in the Polynesia area and work order for construction of 148 ponds allotted in the last 2016-17 fiscal year has been given.



(D) Work has been issued in the preparation of 1,000 set-rings and 04 community latrines for the year 2017-2018 under National Sanitation (Third Part) project.


(E) Reclamation / renovation work of 07 ponds under the re-excavation / renovation project under pond / dighi / ponds of Zilla Parishad, for water conservation and safe water supply.



    Apart from this the other activities of the department are ongoing.
